Jugal Kishore Sharma today attended the Gou Gopal Paryavaran Sammelan at Village Seri in Block Bhalwal. Village Seri holds immense spiritual significance as the Tapobhumi of Late Shri Dwarka Nath Shastri Ji. The five-day Paryavaran Sammelan is being organized in his sacred memory as a tribute to his invaluable contribution to spirituality, environmental consciousness, and social upliftment.
The Sammelan was also attended by Sat Sharma Hon’ble Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha) and State President BJP, Nand Kishore District President BJP Jammu North, Raveesh Mengi District General Secretary BJP, Amit Sharma Mandal President BJP,Amit Manhas,Vaishno Devi,Senior Leaders BJP along with prominent citizens of society.
During his visit, Shri Jugal Kishore Sharma also sought the blessings of Saint Shri Gangadhar Shastri Ji Maharaj & Sh Kuldeep Shastri Ji, Sh Pardeep Shastri Ji and Sh. Suresh Shastri Ji.
Addressing a large gathering present on the occasion,Jugal Kishore Sharma emphasized the importance of such sammelans in preserving and promoting moral and cultural values in society. He said that these events should be attended by all family members, as they play a vital role in strengthening ethics, traditions, and social responsibility among the younger generation.
Appreciating the visionary leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi, he appealed to the people to plant more and more trees under the "Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam" campaign. He particularly urged people to intensify plantation drives during the ongoing monsoon season, highlighting it as the most suitable time for planting saplings and ensuring their healthy growth. He stressed that environmental protection is a shared responsibility and called upon every citizen to contribute towards building a greener and healthier future.
Jugal Kishore Sharma MP further stated that efforts would be made at the national level to secure National Sampada status for Gou Mata through a widespread signature campaign, recognizing the cow’s immense cultural, spiritual, and agricultural importance in Indian society. He appealed to people from all sections of society to support and participate in this campaign.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from devotees, local residents, environmentalists, and social workers, making the Sammelan a significant platform for promoting environmental conservation, spiritual awareness, and social harmony.
