The Tirupathi Balaji Temple Jammu will remain closed for devotees on March 3, 2026, due to the Chandra Grahan (lunar eclipse). According to temple authorities, the Sutak period will begin at 6:20  am, following which the temple doors will be closed. The temple will reopen only in the evening after the lunar eclipse concludes and purification rituals are completed.
Devotees from Jammu and surrounding areas have been requested to cooperate with the temple administration and avoid visiting the temple during the Sutak period, in keeping with religious traditions and temple norms.
Meanwhile, Temple Inspector Sai Krishna Ji has issued an important public notice regarding a change in the temple’s daily timings. With effect from March 1, 2026, the temple will open at 6:00 am and close at 8:00 pm every day. The revised schedule has been introduced for the convenience of devotees and to ensure smooth temple management.
The temple administration has appealed to all devotees to take note of these announcements and plan their visits accordingly.
