Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Jammu, Joginder Singh, has ordered the posting of six Inspector-ranked officers as Station House Officers (SHOs) in different police stations of the district.
The postings have been made to fill the vacancies created after the recent transfer of 251 Inspectors to various zones and wings of the Jammu and Kashmir Police.
As per official sources, Inspector Ashwani Sharma has been posted as SHO Bus Stand, Inspector Sunil Sharma as SHO Jhajjar Kotli, and Inspector Sanjeevan Jyoti as SHO Women Cell.
Similarly, Inspector Vikram Singh has been posted as SHO RS Pura, Inspector Sandeep Katoch as SHO Channi, and Inspector Balwinder Singh has been posted as SHO Khour.
