Jammu: In a major development in an alleged ₹4.10 crore fraud case, Channi Himmat Police Station, Jammu, has registered FIR No. 262/2026 over allegations of cheating people on the pretext of securing Railway Board recruitment appointments and a tender for the supply of drinking water bottles to Northern Railway.
During the investigation, the main accused was arrested and is currently lodged in judicial custody, while two other accused remain absconding.
SI Tushar Sharma’s commendable work can be highlighted in connection with the police action in this case, subject to official confirmation of his specific role.
The investigation is ongoing to uncover the complete network involved in the alleged fraud, trace the flow of money, and establish the roles of other individuals who may be involved.
The identities of all persons involved have been withheld to maintain confidentiality.
