BJP National General Secretary Tarun Chugh said that the belated admission by Jaish-e-Mohammad about the devastating impact of Operation Sindoor is the strongest proof of India’s decisive counter-terror capability. “In May 2025, our brave armed forces demolished Jaish’s Bahawalpur headquarters, eliminated over a hundred dreaded terrorists including Kandahar hijackers, and struck at the very roots of Masood Azhar’s empire. Today, even Jaish commanders are on record acknowledging their losses,” Chugh said.

He hit out sharply at the Congress alliance and its leader Rahul Gandhi, reminding how they questioned the success of Operation Sindoor just as they once cast aspersions on the Surgical Strikes and Balakot Airstrikes. “This is a consistent pattern—our forces write history with blood and courage, and Rahul Gandhi tries to erase it with doubt and dishonor. The nation will never forgive such betrayal,” Chugh said.

From the surgical strikes of 2016 to the Balakot airstrikes in 2019, and now Operation Sindoor in 2025, India’s armed forces have written a saga of unmatched bravery. Each time, while the world acknowledged India’s right to defend itself, Congress leaders tried to plant seeds of doubt and spoke in the very language that Pakistan used to discredit our victories. “This duplicity is not just politics—it is an insult to every soldier who risks his life for the tricolour,” Chugh said, adding that history will remember these operations as milestones of India’s rise, while it will remember Rahul Gandhi’s comments as footnotes of shame.

Chugh also drew attention to Pakistan’s former cricketer Shahid Afridi’s recent praise of Rahul Gandhi. “It is shameful that the same Afridi who spits venom on Kashmir is now applauding Rahul Gandhi. This proves Rahul is Pakistan’s blue-eyed boy, celebrated by its army and media. He echoes their script and dances to their tune, even in times when India needs unity against terror,” he added.

Calling out former Pakistani cricketer Mohammad Yousuf’s derogatory and condemnable remarks against India’s cricket captain Suryakumar Yadav, Chugh questioned why Rahul Gandhi and his ally from Bihar, Tejashwi Yadav, have not objected to such insults. “Their silence is telling. It shows that Rahul Gandhi and his INDI alliance partners like Tejashwi are not just indifferent but virtually complicit with Pakistani voices. When Pakistan abuses India, they look the other way, and when Pakistan praises Rahul Gandhi, they beam with pride. This duplicity is unacceptable,” Chugh said.
