Calls for Expediting PWD Works in Rajouri Constituency

MLA Rajouri, Iftkhar Ahmed, today voiced key developmental concerns of the Pir Panjal region in general, and Rajouri Assembly constituency in particular, during a meeting of the Committee on Government Assurances held at the Assembly Complex, Srinagar.

He drew attention to issues related to road infrastructure, delays in public works, and the need for improved connectivity in the hilly and remote areas of the region. Urging the Public Works Department (PWD) to take immediate steps, he called for fast-tracking pending projects and ensuring prompt redressal of public grievances.

The meeting, chaired by Sajad Gani Lone, chairman House committee on Govt assurance focused on reviewing government assurances related to the PWD. Members Ch. Mohammad Akram, Javaid Ahmad Mirchal, Hilal Akbar Lone, Mian Mehar Ali, Mohan Lal, Sunil Bahardwaj, and Shagun Parihar were present, along with senior officers from the department.
