BJP Jammu & Kashmir held Tiranga Yatras across Jammu & Kashmir to celebrate the spirit of patriotism and national unity.

J&K BJP President Sat Sharma today participated in a series of spirited Tiranga Yatras held at Ramgarh in District Samba and in Jammu city, celebrating the national spirit ahead of Independence Day.

In Ramgarh, the Tiranga Rally witnessed overwhelming public participation and was marked by an atmosphere of patriotic fervor. Sat Sharma was accompanied by BJP Vice-President Rashpaul Verma, MLA Ramgarh Dr. Devinder Kumar Manyal, DDC Chairperson Keshav Dutt Sharma, DDC Sarbjit Singh Johal, District President Asha Rani, Brijeshwar Singh Rana, and other senior leaders and activists. Participants waved the national flag, raising slogans of Bharat Mata Ki Jai, as the rally progressed through the town.

Later in Jammu, Sat Sharma joined a grand Tiranga Rally from Shivaji Chowk to Gurudwara Singh Sabha, Nanak Nagar. He was accompanied by BJP General Secretaries Sanjita Dogra and Gopal Mahajan, MLAs Ch. Vikram Randhawa and Balwant Singh Mankotia, former MLC Charanjit Singh Khalsa, Mahila Morcha President Neha Mahajan, along with Vinay Mahajan, Shailja Gupta, Prerna Nanda, Urvashi Gupta, Neena Gupta, Sunita Gupta, Lavisha Gupta and others.

In Tiranga Rally from New Plot to Kachi Chawni, Sat Sharma was accompanied by Vice-President Priya Sethi, MLA Yudhvir Sethi, District President Adv. Rajesh Gupta and others.

In Gole Market, Tiranga Yara was led by BJP General Secretary (Organization) Ashok Koul, BJP National Secretary & MLA Dr. Narinder Singh, MLA Ch. Vikram Randhawa, Vice-President Rekha Mahajjn, senior leader Aseem Gupta, District President Naresh Singh Jasrotia and others.

Addressing the gatherings, Sat Sharma said, “The Tiranga Yatra is not just a rally, it is a moving celebration of our pride, sacrifice, and unity as a nation. By carrying the Tricolour through the streets, we are sending a strong message that the spirit of patriotism is alive in every citizen, and that we stand united to build a stronger, more developed India.”

Ashok Koul, lauding the enthusiastic participation across the Union Territory, remarked, “These Yatras rekindle the values of freedom, sacrifice, and brotherhood. They inspire citizens to rise above differences and work for the collective progress of our nation. Every wave of the Tricolour in these rallies is a symbol of our commitment to national unity.”

The events concluded with the singing of the National Anthem, echoing the promise to keep the spirit of freedom and unity vibrant in society. The BJP leadership reiterated its call for citizens to participate actively in such programmes to strengthen the bond of patriotism and social harmony across Jammu & Kashmir.
