Asking police officers to step up operations againstmilitants in the valley, Director General of Police (DGP) Dilbagh Singh hasemphasised upon maintaining synergy among all security force agencies on theground.

The DGP commended the collective efforts of the J&KPolice and other security forces for maintaining peace in Jammu and Kashmir.

He said that the commitment and spirit shown by the policeand security forces on the ground towards the service of the people and countrywill foil the evil designs of the anti-national elements disrupting peace inthe State.

Mr Singh said that the attempts of anti-social elements werefoiled because of the professionalism displayed by the forces, and support ofthe people.

While referring to the recent successful anti militancyoperations, the DGP directed the officers to step up these operation n theirrespective jurisdictions.

The DGP impressed upon the officers and Jawans to continuework with full professionalism and commitment to ensure peace, law & order.He emphasised upon maintaining full synergy between Police and all securityforces deployed on the ground.

A police official on Sunday said that the DGP visitedKokernag, Larnoo, Duksam and reviewed over all security situation in Anantnagdistrict.
