Sonu Pargal visits Sumb to review progress under ABD Programme

Today i.e. on 20.10.2022 Mr. Sonu Pargal, JKAS, Deputy Secretary to Planning, Development and Monitoring Department, J&K visited Aspirational Block Sumb of district Samba to review the progress of the Aspirational Block Development Programme (ABDP) and physical/ Financial progress of the works approved under ABDP Plan. First of all, he visited the Block Headquarter Sumb and participated in the multipurpose public camp organized at Block headquarter (Panchayat Baletar)under Jan Abhiyan Programme (for the preparatory phase of Back to Village 4). In the programme, he inspected departmental stalls organized by various departments i.e. Agriculture department, Horticulture department, NRLM, Animal Husbandry department & CSC counter; and interacted with the officials of the concerned departments.

The visiting officer then interacted with the PRI members namely Sh. Ramesh Singh- BDC Chairman, Sh. Suraj Parkash Verma- Sarpanch Pyt. Baletar, Smt. Kranti Kiran- Sarpanch Pyt. Kard, Sh. Baldev Singh- Sarpanch Pyt. Patyari & other panches of various wards and discussed in detail about various works approved under ABDP Plan of Sumb block. The officer gave patient hearing to the deliberations held with the PRI members & general public.

Later on, Sh. Sonu Pargal alongwith BDO Sumb & PRI members visited sites of the works approved under ABDP Plan viz. Construction of T/road from Samotha to Beli, Panchayat Goran; Const. of T/road from PMGSY road to Govt. Middle School Jattah, Panchayat Kard along with foot bridge; Repair & Renovation of Labour Room at PHC Sumb; and Installation of automatic analyzer at PHC Sumb.
