Apropos to a news being circulated on social media regarding the death of one person namely Mr. M.L.Koul of Ambika Vihar Talab Tilo Jammu, it is stated that said information is not correct.
District Police has clarified that on 3rd April ,2020 while the Police was distributing Ration in the area, they were told that a person had fallen down. Police immediately visited the spot which was nearby and took the person to the medical college. The post mortem report issued by the doctor mentions death due to cardiac arrest. As such the news item circulated on social media is fabricated and far from the reality as no police action was involved and a duty magistrate was also present on the spot. It is reiterated that action will be taken against any one spreading false news.
