Senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister, Kavinder Gupta commended National Investigation Agency (NIA) for taking befitting action against those abetting terrorism in J&K.
In a statement issued to media persons, the BJP stalwart asked NIA and other security agencies to further intensify their action against the people inimical to peace and tranquility in the Union Territory. He said that NIA’s raids in connection with threats to BJP leaders and minority community members living in the Valley is quite appropriate and it should be ensured that no one involved in such illegal activities should be excused because such action would act as the last nail in the coffin of terrorism in Kashmir.
Kavinder said that the Prime Minister Narendra Modi zero tolerance policy against terrorism should be implemented on ground in letter and spirit and whosoever dares to challenge the same should be taken to task.
The senior BJP leader said that today’s raids by NIA at 14 destinations deserve applause as the investigation agency is taking pain in completely sanitizing J&K from the scourge of terrorism. He said that NIA and other security agencies should work in tandem in containing terrorism as still the rogue nation Pakistan is providing support to terror mongers and it is on western neighbour’s behest that youths are indulging in terror activities including threats to minority community, and terror attacks in Valley.
