A child died after an explosion rocked Jammu and Kashmir's Rajouri on Monday.
Five others were injured in the explosion. Another child, among those injured, was reported to be in a critical condition.
According to the details, the blast was reported in Dangri village, near the house of a civilian who was shot dead by terrorists on Sunday.
Another suspected IED was spotted in the area, which was being removed by the security forces.
Those injured in the blast were shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment.
The incident comes a day after four civilians were killed after terrorists opened fire inside three houses in the area.
Meanwhile, security forces on Monday intensified a cordon-and-search operation by inducting additional personnel to track down two terrorists involved in an attack on a particular community in Rajouri district, officials said.
