Pursuant to the approval of the Competent Authority conveyed by the Government of India, Ministry of Home Affairs vide communication No.15030/40/2019-J&K dated 15.03.2020, sanction is hereby accorded to the appointment of Shri Baseer Ahmad Khan, IAS (JK-2000), as Advisor to assist Lieutenant Governor of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir for effective discharge of his functions during the period of SO 3937(E) notified on 31* October, 2019 or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
The appointment will be effective from the date he assumes the charge.
His appointment shall be governed by the terms and conditions as are applicable to other Advisors in terms of Government Order No. 44-GAD of 2020 dated 08.01.2020.
The Government shall order the reshuffle among the departments allocated to 4 Advisors after the joining of Baseer Khan which is likely to happen in next few days.
