Describing the present BJP as a heterogeneous combination of political toddlers, turncoats and corrupt politicians, Mr. Harsh Dev Singh Former Minister and AAP leader said that common masses and even its own supporters were fast losing faith in its much trumpeted policies and programmes. While pursuing the sole agenda of attaining power by hook or crook, the BJP had exposed itself resulting in alienation amongst its own rank and file, said Singh. Having became extremely insecure in the wake of ever rising graph of Aam Admi Party, the BJP was desperate to induct every Tom, Dick and Harry in the party regardless of one’s credentials. He was addressing huge public meetings in Kanser, Galli, Katwalat during his two days tour of Chenani constituency.
Urging upon the people to strengthen AAP, Mr. Singh said that it alone was being seen as the most viable alternative of the Saffron regime. The astounding betrayals of BJP with varied sections of society and even with its own electorates needed to be appropriately responded, said Harsh. “Lets join hands to give a befitting reply for all its acts of treachery and subterfuge. Remember, it’s not the BJP of AB Vajpayee or LK Advani. It’s not the BJP that followed the principles of Shyama Prasad Mukherji. Its moral halo has dissipated. It’s a pale forlorn shadow of its once vibrant self. Today’s BJP is a rig rag conglomerate of political opportunists from Congress, NC, Panthers, PDP etc whose sole objective is to capture power even if they have to sell their souls to the devil.
Mr. Singh said that with the BJP fast losing its sheen and steam, these very political toddlers would be the first to desert it. The BJP is a sinking ship and the ‘political rats’ would be the first to abandon it as has been the case with Congress, observed Harsh. He said that there were very few leaders on the political landscape of J&K who were fighting for the people and against the political debauchery of the opportunist leaders and corruption plagued system in spite of several odds and hostile situations. The people needed to recognize and support such leaders and throw out the self centred, greedy politicians”, said Harsh.
