J&K Police and BSF in RS Pura achieved a major success after a huge cache of illegal drugs, arms and ammunition was recovered and an infiltration bid of smugglers was foiled.
After a specific input of infiltration of smugglers was generated ,joint teams of Jammu Police and BSF spanned around the border and a tight vigil was kept.In the mid of night a suspicious movement was noticed.
After challenge from security forces the smugglers fled from the spot leaving behind 62 Kgs of high quality Heroin along with 2 Chinese made pistols with ammunition.The international market cost of illegal drugs recovered was approximately 300 crores.
A search is laid in the adjoining villages for nabbing the accussed involved in Narco terrorism when this report was filed.
