District Development Commissioner, Sushma Chauhan convened a meeting with the officers and engineers of Public Works Department, to review the pace of progress on various works under execution in the district here today.

During the meeting, the DDC took a detailed assessment of the physical and financial progress under CAPEX budget 2019-20, Centrally Sponsored Scheme, Languishing project, Construction of Bunkers in border area. The meeting was attended by Executive Engineers of Public Works (R&B)department, Chief Planning officer, Tehsildars besides senior officers of concerned department.

While reviewing the progress on various works, the meeting was informed that 81 works have been approved under Languishing projects and 13 works have been completed under NABARD while 15 works have been taken up under CRF during the current financial year.

Addressing the meeting, the DDC asked the concerned to workwith utmost dedication and speed up the pace of work on all ongoing developmentalworks for timely completion.While reviewing progress on works being executedfor construction of individual and community bunkers, it was informed that inDivision-I, 246 individual bunkers have been completed whereas 525 individualand 65 community bunkers have been completed in Division-III. The DDC directedthe executing agencies and Revenue officers to expedite the pace of work forconstruction of remaining bunkers. She further directed Chief Planning Officerfor daily monitoring of project to achieve the targets timely.
