The All India Devotional Song Competition being organized by SMVD Shrine Board and Deptt. of J&K Tourism, J&K Bank, Shraddha Mh One with active support of   Shri Mata Vaishno Devi  Narayana Super Specialist Hospital, Surya Milk, Tiwari Multi Speciality Hospital,Farokhabad,Pure Roots Herbal, , Nidesh Builders Pvt.Ltd. Jammu, Divinity, ,Big 92.7  FM ,Yog Ashram Trust ,District Administration and the local host Community entered in third day evening as a part of Navratra Festival 2019 began today at Yog  Ashram Complex in the evening by litting of a  traditional lamp by Vice Chancellor SMVD Univeristy  Dr. Ravindra Kumar Sinha (Padam Shri )  and  Celebrity Singer Amarjit Singh Bijli  in presence of Chairman Devotional Song Committee & President Hotel Association Katra Rakesh Wazir,Asstt. Director Tourism  Dr.Umesh  Shan,  Yog Acharya Swami Yoga Nand ji Maharaj , Former Winner Rajan Gill,Virender Kesar, Prabhat Singh etc.

 Where as in  third day of the preliminary round of the competition 1st Position was  clinched by Sukhjinder jit  from Amritsar & Rajiv Salotra from Jammu , 2nd position was  held by Mohinder  Soni from Jammu and 3rd position was shared by  Pranbha  Sharma from Jammu & Afroj Alam from Bihar, among the 10 auditioned participants in which 05 participants were from outside the state and were provided with the cash prizes of 10,000/- , 5,000/-and 3,000/- respectively.

The Devotional Song Competition was adjudged by the panels of experts in music including Celebrity Singer Amarjit Singh Bijli  Rashtrapati Awardee, Dr.Usha Bhagati Ex.HOD Music many degree colleges including P.G.M.A.M College Jammu, Dr.Surinder Kumar Sharma  HOD Govt. Degree College Sunni Shimla and Dr.C L Verma Ex.Chairman Post Graduate University of Himachal Pradesh.

Celebrity Singer Singer Amarjit Singh Bijli  who is known for his famous Albums  like  Maa Sbka Bhala Kare , Ambe Bhawani , Chitthi Aayee Maiya Di etc. who had come all the way from Delhi to be there as judge  and perform in the competition mesmerised the audience with his  presentations which continued for more than one hour  and the total environment of the venue became spiritual and  same thing happened with Rajan Gill who is former winner of this All India Devotional Song Competition too forced the audience to dance on his tunes .

The proceedings of Competition were conducted by Sh. Rakesh Wazir who is also the Chairman of  the said Competition, who while speaking on the occasion said that Mannat Noor the famous bollywood singer and play back singer of song Ni Main Long ni tu lachi and Naveen Punjabi will be the singers among others who will perform in the Final of the competition.

Mr.Ravinder Kumar while speaking on the occasion said that he is feeling happy to see the festival of that level taking place at Katra that goes on for all nine days and said that its wider publicity is the need of hour so that more and more people come to know of it and may  see and participate in it  and  he further said that where this festival is providing platform to aspiring participants to show their talent on hand is giving boost to Tourism in a big way.
