Acting on specific information, Police in Budgam arrested five terrorist associates involved in terror crime offences.
They have been identified as Shahnawaz Ahmad Wani, Nasir Ahmad Wani, Bilal Ahmad Khan, Irfan Ahmad Pathan all residents of Gundipora Beerwah and Ali Mohd Bhat resident of Warihama Beerwah.
As per police records they are involved in assisting active terrorists operating in the areas of Budgam. As per the investigations, they were providing logistic support and shelter to the terrorists.
Incriminating materials including arms and ammunition have been recovered from their possession.
Case under relevant sections of law stands registered at Police Station Beerwah and further investigation in the matter is in progress.
