Bharatiya Janata Party, held a meeting of its State Office Bearers, District Incharges of “Organizational Elections” and State Morcha Presidents to discuss the forthcoming party programmes and to review the progress of processes involved in “Organizational Elections” at party headquarter, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu.
BJP State President Ravinder Raina chaired the meeting, while BJP State General Secretary (Org.) Ashok Kaul chiefly addressed the meeting along with State General Secretaries Dr. Narinder Singh and Yudhvir Sethi. Yudhvir Sethi, conducted the whole meeting proceedings.
Ravinder Raina, while addressing the meeting, asked the party leaders to fully engage with the tasks of forthcoming party programmes. He said that the Polling Booth elections will strengthen the Spinal Cord of Party, and as such we have to make sure that there are surplus number of Active BJP workers on every Booth. Today, the people have developed craze for party, due to the Nationalist and Developmental policies and they have faith that we are good people and we will always act responsibly.
Raina, also stressed that the abrogation of Article 370 is being appreciated by the people from all walks of life. He said that only vested interests are trying to vitiate the atmosphere. He said that public representatives, business fraternity from Kashmir have spoken in the favour of doing away with the controversial article. He said that we are the Nationalist people, for us “Nation First” always remains on priority but there is also large chunk of population that has got individual benefit with the abrogation of Article, for they were discriminated by the clutches of 370 for 7 long decades.
Ashok Kaul, in his address, asked the “Organizational Elections” Incharges to do vigorous exercise to compete with the set schedule putting great onus of responsibility on them. He said that we all have to ensure that right persons get chosen for every party post. He said that our party ethics make us to believe that we don’t get posts but responsibilities and we must adhere to this tradition and choose candidates accordingly. He also sought the progress on “Organizational Elections” by party leaders.
Dr. Narinder Singh, in his address, gave detailed insight about the various forthcoming party programmes focussing especially on “Sewa Saptah”. He also asked the leaders to promote “No Plastic Use” and “Plantation Drives” in their surroundings. He asked the leaders to promote “Sewa”, “Paani” and “Fit India” during coming days.

Pathania, S.S. Bijral, Priya Sethi, Brig. Anil Gupta, Adv. Abhinav Sharma, Pt. Ashok Khajuria, Dr. Tahir Choudhary, Ashwani Chrungoo, Rakesh Sharma, Sunil Gupta, Ishtiaq Wani, Munish Sharma, S. Virenderjit Singh, Naresh Dogra, Tilak Raj Gupta, Dr. Pardeep Mahotra, Suraj Singh, Jaidev Rajwal, Rekha Manhas, Bawa Sharma, Prem Gupta, Arun Chibber, Surinder Choudhary, Rajni Sethi, Vikas Choudhary, Rashpal Verma, Rajinder Singh Chib, Haroon Choudhary, Jagdish Bhagat, Karan Singh, Surinder Bhagat, Jugal Dogra, Mohan Singh Rana, Naresh Sharma, Inderjeet Sharma, Jaideep Sharma and others were among the senior party leaders present in the meeting.
