1.Slogans of “Bharat Mata ki Jai” echoed from the walls of Dhanidar Fort. The second edition of ‘Rajouri Marathon 2019’ organized on 06 October 2019 by ‘Ace of Spades Division’ under Operation  Sadbhavana brought together people from all strata of society and the population displayed spirit of nationalism and unity . Event was organized for all desirous Civil & Defense runners of Rajouri, Poonch, Mendhar and Naushera districts to promote health awareness and a motto of ‘Swach Rajouri Green Rajouri’ among local populace. Approx 2000 Civilians & defense runners actively participated in various categories as per their age groups. The event was graced by various defence & civilian dignitaries including General Officer Commanding 25 Infantry Division, Deputy General Officer Commanding 25 Infantry Division, Commander 25 Artillery Brigade, Mohammad Aijaz, DC, Rajouri, Mr Vivek Gupta, Deputy Inspector General, Police, Shri Indradeo Singh, Deputy Inspector General, Border Security Force, Mr Liaqat Ali, Additional Superintendent of  Police, Rajouri and various other defence & civil dignitaries. 
2.The event started with warming up Zumba Dance by Master Rahul followed by flag off of 21 km, 10 km, 5 km and 3 km run as per respective age groups. There were separate prizes for each 21km, 10km, 5km & 3 km categories. First prize of Rs 10,000/-  in 21 km category in 15-30 years age group was won by Master Dalvir Singh, in 30 - 45 years age group by Mr Zameel Khan & in 45-60 years age group by Mr Nazir. First prize in 10km category was Rupees 4,000/- which was won in 15-30 years age group by Master Paramvir Singh, in 30 - 45 years age group by Mr Zameel Ahmed & in 45-60 years age group by Mr Shakoor. Similarly, first prize in 5 km category in 15-30 years age group was Rupees 2,500/- which was won by Master Jeet Raj, in 30-45 years age group by Mr Yusuf & in above 60 years age group by Mr Kamal Zamani. Similarly, in 3 km category prize was Rupees 1,500/- which was  won by Master Ashfaq in 11-45 years age group and in 45-60 years category by Mr Anil Bakshi. All participants were given participation medals and T Shirts to encourage them. 203 girls and women runners also participated. Mrs Gurnam Kaur won 21 km competition, Miss Arban Naz won 10 km competition, Miss Shamshad won 5 km competition, Miss Sonia Tabassum won 3 km competition.  
3.The prize distribution was followed by breakfast arranged by Army authorities. The slogans of “Bharat Mata Ki Jai” echoed from the Dhanidar Hill. The display of nationalism and unity by the public was a sight to behold. The ‘Marathon Run’ was a live example of Unity in Diversity and Indian Army did a commendable job to spark feeling of fitness and health consciousness and spread awareness regarding ‘Swach Bharat Abhiyan’ in all residents especially youths of Rajouri, Poonch, Naushera and Naushera districts.
