Ten Junior Scale, Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Service (JKAS) have been deputed to the Union Territory of Ladakh.

As per the General Administration Department (GAD), the ten trainee officers of Junior Scale of JKAS who are residents of Ladakh have been deputed to their Union Territory so that they can be attached in districts of Leh and Kargil.

These officers include Arifa Iqbal Lone, Sarwar Shahzad, Samina Katoon, Deachen Chondol, Kaneez Fatima, Anwar Hussain, Nilza Angmo, Dorjay Gailson, Rigzin Yangdol, and Jigmet Angchuk. Consequent upon the above, Junior KAS, under secretary in UT Ladakh, Ram Paul, recalled and his services have been placed at the disposal of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj for further posting.

Meanwhile, General Administration Department (GAD) today promoted from departmental feeding service to times scale of Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Service (JKAS).

As per the GAD order, the sanction was accorded to the appointment (by promotion) of Mir Nasrool Hillal from Rural Development Department (RDD) and Sudhir Bali from Social Welfare Service of the departmental feeding services to the times scale of Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Services (JKAC) in the pay band of Rs 15, 600-39, 100 with grade pay of Rs 6600 with effect from January 1, 2018. These appointments shall be subject to the outcome of writ petition, if any, pending before the competent court of law.
